Taller 62 is a Cuban café and art studio where you can enjoy a meal, coffee or juice, read, work and enjoy the art studio/gallery. Right in the heart of the Centro on Calle 62 x 43 y 45.
They also have art workshops every Sunday 11am- 1pm where you can pay $350 pesos and have a day of creativity under the guidance of artist Ernesto Garcia. He provides all the materials and guests make sculptures from wood and other materials. It’s great for anyone over 10 years old. Plus they always have a Cuban “special of the day” so you can stay for lunch too afterwards!
Each month a new art exhibit opens, currently you can see the work of James Bonachea. We’ll keep you posted on the next art opening, talk with the artist and closing!
