story of the king of Ayodia, Dasaratha, who
had three wives and four children: Rama,
Laksmana, Bharata and Satruña. But
Bharata’s mother betrays him and demands
that he banish Rama, the king’s favorite
son, losing the possibility of succeeding his
father to the throne. Rama, avatar of the
god Vishnu, will have to live in the forest
for 14 years, accompanied by Sita, his
faithful and beautiful wife and his
inseparable brother Laksmana. The story is
about the abduction of Sita by Ravana, the
king of the raksasas (demons) and how
Rama was helped by the semi-divine
monkey Hanuman who finds her on the
island of Lanka, where Ravana keeps her
prisoner. After several battles between the
monkey army of Sugriva, ruler of Kiskinda,
and the fearsome raksasas: Khara,
Kumbakarna, Indrajit and Ravana, they are
defeated and Rama rescues Sita. The
couple meets and returns to Ayodia for
Rama’s coronation, but an unexpected
ending happens. Over 12 years
