This is an invitation to attend a Trova night event to support Proyecto Santa Maria, a non-profit organization that aims to protect and conserve birds, specifically the Psittacidae family, which are at risk of extinction due to looting for the pet market. The organization plans to build a pre-release cage in the Tzucmuc community of Chankon, Yucatan to protect recovered or confiscated birds from illegal trade. The project focuses on 22 species of national parrots that are in danger of extinction, and the event aims to raise funds for this cause.
